Visit Central Florida will be the destination partner for Welsh club Swansea City through the 2027–2028 season with the bureau’s logo on the sleeve for the team’s home, away and third kits for the duration of the agreement.
“Our partnership with Swansea City has steadily grown over several years and we are excited to extend this relationship with the football club,” said Kris Keprios, senior tourism sales and marketing manager at Visit Central Florida. “We here at Visit Central Florida have built our entire business model on relationships – and we value our relationship with both the Jack Army and club as we continue to expand our partnership. We are excited for what the future holds for both of our organisations.”
Central Florida will become the hub for US-based Swans fans with plans for watch parties and fan events in the pipeline. Visit Central Florida is based in the Sunshine State’s Polk County and Lakeland – spring training home of the Detroit Tigers – is nicknamed Swans City due to the presence of the birds in the area. The town of Lake Wales is also nearby.
“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Visit Central Florida,” said Kelly Quigley, Swansea City’s head of international partnerships. “As we look ahead to the next three seasons, this relationship will take on even greater significance—with Central Florida becoming the club’s official US hub. We’re excited to activate the partnership in new ways, including watch parties and fan events, to our coaches engaging with local clubs and communities, bringing the club closer to our supporters across Central Florida. Central Florida is more than just a partner—it’s a place where the Swansea story can grow, travel, and be shared meaningfully.”
