The 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships will travel to Salt Lake City, the first time the event will be held in the state of Utah and the future host of the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
“We are excited to bring the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships to Salt Lake City for the first time,” said Matt Farrell, chief executive officer of U.S. Figure Skating. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to spotlight the sport in an Olympic-caliber setting, and we’re hopeful to see synchronized skating return to the city as an Olympic event in 2034.”
The competition will take place March 4—7 at the Maverick Center, where U.S. champions will be crowned in eight disciplines culminating with the naming of the 2026 World Synchronized Skating Team. The full list of teams competing at the U.S. Synchronized Championships will be announced following the three synchronized skating sectional finals, which will be held in January 2026.
