The 2026 US Table Tennis Championships will be held in San Jose, California, at the McEnery Convention Center from July 3–9 with a projected record number of participants in Silicon Valley.
The event will be held in the SJCC’s 165,000 square foot main hall. Opened in 1989, the SJCC is located in the heart of downtown San Jose and is the largest convention center in Silicon Valley and previously hosted Fan Fair for the NHL’s 2019 All-Star Game.
“San Jose is thrilled to be selected as the host city for the 2026 US Table Tennis National Championships,” said John Poch, executive director of the San Jose Sports Authority. “Our vibrant table tennis community, world-class facilities and proven track record in hosting major sporting events make us the perfect destination for this prestigious tournament.”
The event is scheduled to include northern California native and reigning US champion Kanak Jha, who will seek to become the first seven-time winner of the men’s title. On the women’s side, Sally Moyland will seek to defend her first title.
“We’re extremely excited to be headed to San Jose for the 2026 Nationals,” said USATT Chief Executive Officer Virginia Sung. “There is no question that the Silicon Valley has produced – and continues to produce – some of our country’s greatest table tennis players, and we would expect an extremely competitive pool of talent at this event. We also believe that the San Jose Convention Center is the perfect space for a major US tournament. The playing venue is a huge and open space, which will give us ample opportunity to design and build a top-quality field of play. And, of course, San Jose is simply a beautiful, world class city with something to do for everyone, which should bring in players from all around our great country.”
