Amanda Shank has been named a partner and executive vice president for the Sports Facilities Companies after serving more than nine years with Unrivaled Sports and its portfolio company Ripken Baseball. In her most recent role with Unrivaled Sports, Shank served as executive vice president of strategic initiatives.
Unrivaled was founded in 2024 by Josh Harris and David Blitzer, owners of the Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Commanders and New Jersey Devils.
SFC remains in growth mode in its core business of managing and developing sports, recreation, wellness and events facilities. The company’s services include planning, feasibility, development and professional management services for community leaders and developers. It has assembled more than 100 managed venues, approximately 5,000 team members, nearly 30 million annual guest visits and nearly $1 billion in economic impact each year.
At Ripken Baseball, Shank helped drive growth across the organization’s youth sports business, which included the company’s expansion strategy, venue development, new business verticals, strategic partnerships and off-field revenue generation. After Ripken Baseball merged with Cooperstown All Star Village, she held executive leadership roles with Unrivaled Sports.
Prior to her time at Unrivaled, Shank spent more than 11 years with the NFL Players Association in licensing, business development, player services and player marketing roles.
