Kyle Molivas Takes New Role With DMO in North Carolina

Kyle Molivas has been appointed sports sales manager for DistiNCtly Fayetteville, the destination marketing organization for the Fayetteville, North Carolina, area. Molivas will assist with recruiting and servicing tournaments and sporting events in Cumberland County.

Molivas was most recently a sales representative with Stricklands Portion Park. He graduated from Methodist University with a bachelor’s in environmental and occupational management. He also played for the Monarchs baseball team, going 14-6 in four seasons as a pitcher, and served as a team captain for two years.

“Kyle’s background in sales, operations and team leadership will be an asset to our sports tourism efforts,” said Robert Cox, director of sales and sports commission for DistiNCtly Fayetteville. “His experience working directly with clients, combined with his time as a collegiate team captain, aligns well with the collaborative nature of this role.”

Cox was hired to his position last August.

Molivas will work alongside Cox to build relationships, support bid efforts and assist with event planning, among other tasks.
